Initial inquiry to begin the employment process
Reverse Mortgage Sales will train honest and conscientious persons throughout Florida to learn the terms and conditions of Reverse Mortgages and to recognize situations where these
financial products may be used appropriately by seniors, and when they should not be considered.
RMS is not interested in having Reverse Mortgage Loan Originators employ clever “closing skills” and persuasive sales techniques, even if you have received previous sales-training
in such methods. We expect our business to be viewed by employed Loan Originators as that of accurate product-education and of service to senior homeowners.
When seniors fully understand the Reverse Mortgage and determine that it is both appropriate and, perhaps, even necessary for their own situation, they generally have two basic
questions: “How much money can we get?” and “How soon can we get it?”
Loan Originators must be W-2 employees, per FHA regulation. The first step in becoming employed by RMS is to
complete and MAIL the two attachments: inquiry.pdf and background_check.pdf together with CLEAR AND LEGIBLE copies of your DRIVER’S LICENSE and your SOCIAL SECURITY CARD. If you hold a current Mortgage Broker license, please include a photocopy. DO NOT FAX OR EMAIL SCANNED COPIED.

Repeating: After printing and completing forms #1 and #2, persons who intend to become
employees of Reverse Mortgage Sales as new members of our Florida field sales team should
simply mail the following four items to the above address:
- Form #1 - inquiry.pdf (completed, signed and dated).
- Form #2 - background.pdf (completed, signed and dated).
- A legible copy of your Drivers License.
- A legible copy verifying your Social Security number.
After these have been received, and following a routine background check (3-5 days), you will be emailed notice that RMS considers you to be a valuable employment prospect. We look forward to having you join us.
Attached to that email message will be a formal employment application and compensation schedule, together with minimal paperwork required by our payroll department. As soon as these completed documents have been returned by you to our office, your training as a W2 employee and a Loan Originator will begin. You will receive Reverse Mortgage marketing materials (including sales brochures and temporary business cards), and in-field support resources, including your WiseBird producer code number and contact information of your Reverse Mortgage Specialist Field Trainer.
It is our intention to promote you to Reverse Mortgage Specialist (RMSP) as quickly as possible. Field trainers and office personnel will readily answer questions and remain available to assist you when needed.
Appointment by RMS as a Reverse Mortgage Specialist (RMSP) generally occurs immediately following employment for persons with considerable Reverse Mortgage experience.
